360 Excavator Operative
Salary: £25,709 per annum
Full Time: 4 on 4 off shift 12hrs per day (incl. 30mins break)
Based at Avonmouth and/or Days Road, Bristol

THE ROLE
Working at our Household Reuse and Recycling Centres and reporting to a Supervisor, the 360 Excavator Operator will be sorting through various types of waste extracting recyclable materials. Duties will include; driving a 360 Excavator; operating wheeled loading shovels, as well as other mobile plants and equipment; carrying out daily inspections; general maintenance of vehicles, mobile plant and other equipment, and carrying out adjustments as required; carrying out general housekeeping of site grounds and buildings; actively participating in full range of recycling activities/initiatives; as well as acting as a Household Reuse and Recycling Centre Attendant when required.

Requirements: It is essential you have a 360 Operator licence and have the ability to gain CITB Certification or equivalent on Wheeled Loading Shovel; the ability to drive/operate a range of vehicles, fixed/mobile plant and equipment; be prepared to work outside of normal hours to maintain the service; be flexible and adaptable to change roles to meet operational requirements; be a good team member; and have good communication skills when dealing with problems.
