Landscape Architect (Area Committee Projects) Full Time, Fixed term until 1st November 2024.
We have received funds from local community CIL allocation, fundraising and grants, to enable capital projects to be delivered to enhance facilities and landscapes within our parks and green spaces.
You will be working in a parks and green spaces environment, joining an established landscape and play team, realising community generated aspirations. These will include children’s play areas, youth facilities and wider park hard landscape projects.
You will be using your professional landscape design and advice skills to deliver multiple landscape projects from inception through to completion.
You will be working with the local community, local councillors, internal stakeholders and contractors to make significant enhancements to Bristol’s citizens enjoyment of their parks and green spaces.
Landscape Architect (Strategic CIL) Full Time, Fixed term until 1st August 2024.
Corporate strategic CIL funding for housing growth areas has been allocated, to specifically deliver enhancements to facilities and landscapes within our parks and green spaces.
You will be working in a parks and green spaces environment, joining an established landscape and play team. Your work within the team will focus on projects that cater for, the additional demand for facilities created by increased population in these areas. These will include children’s play areas, youth facilities and wider park hard landscape projects.
You will be using your professional landscape design and advice skills to deliver multiple landscape projects from inception through to completion. You will also act as Client for repair and enhancements to both historic and new public facilities within parks.
You will be working with the local community, local councillors, internal stakeholders, contractors and building professionals, to make significant enhancements to Bristol’s citizens enjoyment of their parks and green spaces.

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.
For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
