Adult social care commissioning is about ensuring that there are a range of services available for our local communities, including older people and adults with disabilities.
About you
We are looking for someone who would like to make a positive difference to our diverse local communities, who enjoys questioning data and using this to recommend options to achieve the best outcome for our citizens.
As part of a busy team you will be comfortable working with a wide range of people, managing competing priorities and have a creative approach to problem solving.You will be organised, with strong IT skills and have the ability to adapt to new systems, where appropriate.
The role
You will play a key role in partnership working, consultation exercises and service review, with support from commissioning managers. You will undertake needs analysis and engage with care managers, social care providers and citizens to design services. You will assist with projects designed to improve outcomes for everyone who requires support from Adult Social Care services in Bristol.Why Bristol City Council?

This is a full time role (37 hours per week) and the contract is fixed term for two years.
