Hours: 39 hours per week

Standard work pattern: Monday to Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Fixed term- 12 months

IS THIS ROLE FOR ME?

You will be driving and cleansing allocated routes within Bristol. Leading a team of street cleansing operatives and ensuring compliance with all aspects of health and safety.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

7.5 tonne licence with CPD qualification
Demonstrable ability in leading a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate the team and liaise effectively with the public and colleagues
Sound literacy skills to follow route maps and to comply with driving and health & safety responsibilities
Ability to work independently and to use initiative for example, in prioritising streets to be cleansed
Demonstrable technical knowledge of the vehicle and equipment to ensure its safe and proper use
UK Driving licence which the post holder must present when requested, the post holder must report any issues that affect driving or driving hours to the Team Supervisor
