Permanent/Full Time 37 hours per week.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious project or progamme manager to play a key role in delivering Bristol City Council’s capital portfolio.
You’ll work within the Councils Capital Programme Management Office supporting the Head of Capital Projects to build high performing project and programme teams, monitor and maintain performance and coordinate Management Information and portfolio reporting.
You will work collaboratively to develop briefs, manage stakeholders, analyse commercial proposals, navigate decision pathways and provide support to the Programme Management Office to mobilise and deliver complex schemes across sectors.
What do I need to have?
You will have or be already or on the path to a professional level qualification and be committed to continued personal development. Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams on major capital projects is important. You will have a good understanding of the Local Authority context and be confident working within a political environment.
You will also demonstrate success on large capital projects, stakeholder management and managing complex budgets. You will be able to show innovation and the capacity to build high performing diverse teams.
